# Welcome to AlpacaRelay

> Design email by describing it. AlpacaRelay writes the design, scores it, and hands it to whatever you send with.

AlpacaRelay is an email design tool you talk to. Describe the email you need, and it produces a complete, responsive design — copy, layout, and styling — ready to send.

From there you can keep editing by chatting, or drag things around by hand. Both work on the same email.

## What you can do

## How it fits together

AlpacaRelay covers the path from idea to inbox, and you can get off at any point:

  You don't have to adopt all of it. Plenty of people use AlpacaRelay purely as a design tool and keep sending from their existing provider — that's what the [ESP integrations](/integrations/overview) are for.

## Credits and plans

Asking the AI to generate or change an email costs **one credit**. Editing by hand, previewing, and scoring don't — you only spend a credit when the AI does work for you.

New workspaces start with a free allowance, so you can try the whole flow before deciding anything. Paid plans add credits, lift the export limit, and let you send campaigns from AlpacaRelay. Current plans and prices are on [alpacarelay.com](https://alpacarelay.com).
